Alpha Sigma Lambda Inductees


Alpha Sigma Lambda is a national honor society whose aim is to recognize the special achievements of adult students in higher education. It is dedicated to the advancement of scholarship and the encouragement of nontraditional students to work toward associate and/or baccalaureate degrees. Syracuse University is one of over 300 chartered chapters of Alpha Sigma Lambda throughout the United States. The following students were recognized in the February 29, 2008 ceremony:

  • Maureen M. Cooke of Syracuse, NY, majoring in Women’s Studies in The College of Arts & Sciences.

  • Andrea M. Dellich of Minoa, NY, majoring in Organizational Leadership at University College.

  • Gregory M. Maslak of Syracuse, NY, majoring in Political Science in The College of Arts and Sciences.

  • Jon A. Mitchell of Syracuse, NY, majoring in Applied Computer Technologies at University College.

  • Beth Sotherden of Constantia, NY, majoring in Painting in the College of Visual and Performing Arts.
